Welcome to my contribution to the Pootlers blog hop. Whether you have come direct as one of my subscribers or via a link from one of the other contributors, I hope you find lots of inspiration on the way.
Well the challenge this time was to use products from the new Spring/Summer catalogue. So I have used the lovely new Rose Wonder thinlets. This is available on its own or as a bundle with a stamp set from Stampin Up and can be purchased HERE in my online store along with all of the other products.
The sides of the box are decorated with Pretty Petals DSP, and the thinlets are cut from Watermelon Wonder. The top is stamped with Papillon Potpourri and then the thinlets cut from DSP and inlaid into the die cut in old olive with crystal effects filling in the leaves. The wooden MDF box has a lift up lid and is a perfect size for storing all sorts of bits and bobs. I primed the box before painting with an acrylic paint. Once dry the papers were adhered and I added the cut outs including the inlaid pieces in the rose on the lid before finishing off with crystal effects.
The flat pack box is my gift to anyone ordering £90 or more during Sale a Bration, providing contact details are provided when ordering. So you can make your own version. The spend can be in a single order or multiple orders.
I hope you have enjoyed this idea, next stop is my fabulous friend Hannah who I am sure has a lovely project for you . If you joined me from Hannah then please hop to the previous blog in the list Camille who has something creative to show you.
