Pootlers Design Team Friendly Wishes showcase #1

Pootlers Design Team

Hi everyone, this month I am taking part in the Pootlers Design Team challenge and we are using the Friendly Wishes stamp set.  There are four of us who will be creating a project every week on a Thursday using the same stamp set.

This is a set that I had overlooked in the annual catalogue, but now I have it, I can see I will be using it much more as it has both small accents and some lovely large sentiments, which can really be the centrepiece of your creation.

So with my current series of fancy folds, I couldn’t just do a straightforward card could I? So having seen France Martin do a portrait shutter gate card recently, I thought I would create a landscape version.  I have made it in two colour ways, the first is using Love Blossoms the second uses the Going Global set on the front and the Friendly wishes on the inside.

  1. Simply stunning Heidi. Love the colour combination and it is so unique. Congratulations on your first Pootles Design Team post x

  2. I would love to see this, but I think you uploaded an incomplete video. It was only about a minute and 30 seconds and stopped after folding the card…I love the card and thought I’d make it for my mom for Mother’s Day this Sunday. I will check back to see if it was an error! Thank you!
