Welcome to my contribution to the Pootlers blog hop. Whether you have come direct as one of my subscribers or via a link from one of the other contributors, I hope you find lots of inspiration on the way.
Well the challenge this time was to use products from the new Annual catalogue. So I have used the new Pop of Pink DSP, a new stamp set and the new nesting heart shaped dies, Sweet and Sassy, the tiny hearts are from the confetti punch along with Melon Mambo cardstock and ink, the top sentiment uses White Craft Ink. They can all be purchased HERE in my online store along with all of the other Stampin up products.
So I’ve made you an unusual shaped box, but those of you familiar with Lindor Balls may recognise the shape! It’s a tiny version, but great fun for packaging little gifts.
So to make this you will need the following:
Card – One piece of card 7-1/2 x 5 inches (19 x 12.4 cm)
Scrap of whisper white for stamping and Basic Black for punching hearts.
If you want to mat the DSP you will need four pieces of card 5/8 of an inch x 1-3/8 (1.5cm x 3.5 cm) and one piece 1-7/8 x 1-3/8 (4.5 cm x 3.5 cm)
DSP – Pop of Pink 141648
Cut two pieces 1-3/4 x 1-1/4 (4 cm x 3 cm) . Cut 4 pieces 1/2 x 1-1/4 (1 cm x 3 cm)
Stamp set : Scenic Sayings (141602)
Other: Sweet and Sassy Framelits (141707); Confetti Hearts Border punch (137415); Whisper White Craft inkpad (101731)
Cut card 7 1/2 x 5 inches ( 19 x 12 cm)
Score short at 1/2 inch (1 cm)then rotate and score at 1-3/4, 3-1/4, 4-1/2 (4, 8, 11 cm)
Score long at 1/2 inch (1 cm) and then rotate 180 degrees and score at 2-1/2, 3-1/4, 6-3/4 inches ( 6, 8 10 15, 17 cms)
With the long edge at the top and the narrow 1/2 inch (1cm) score to the left, score the top, middle and bottom sections ONLY at 4 and 6 inches (10 and 15 cm).
Trim as shown below
Add DSP and do the stamping and adhere the confetti hearts
Fold up the box and tuck in the top and bottom flaps – trim the lid to the shape of the sides once closed.
