So here is a version of the accordion front card that folds down to fit in a square envelope. I love the Up and Away thinlets and the co-ordinating Lift me up stamp set and this showcases both beautifully. It is a timely reminder that after 31st May the stamps and dies will no longer be available as a bundle with 10% discount, so if you are thinking of buying them – get them before the end of the month. I have to admit that the DSP is the retired Sale a Bration paper – but you could make a pretty stamped background or use whatever DSP you have and co-ordinate the layers accordingly. I used the Layering Squares to create the diamonds – so have given the approximate sizes below if you want to cut using your trimmer. I had my big shot out for the die cut balloons – so for me it was just as easy to die cut and I have to admit that the lovely slightly beveled edge from a die cut gives a quality finish. I will be sorry to see Watermelon wonder card disappear – but we have to make space for new colours and products too so I cannot be too sad! Especially when you see all of the new products…my wish list is far too long for the good of my wallet! Although one of the lovely things about being a demonstrator is the chance to share my enthusiasm with my customers. I am always fascinated by their choices and someone always manages to order a set that I had overlooked…which immediately makes it onto my wish list!
My version is made using centimetres, so a warning that I haven’t checked that the inches version is exactly the same – but hopefully should be pretty close to 5 3/4 x 5- 3/4 when closed up.
